Dr. Talmadge Williams

Dr. Williams is a native of Virginia.  Born and raised in Radford, Virginia and has lived in Arlington, Virginia since 1975.

He has spent most of his career in the educational arena.  As Dean of a college, he taught business administration courses. Developed and published a wide range of educational materials that include “The Black Parenting Educational Program” which has national recognition.

Dr. Williams continues to be involved in the public and private sectors, introducing and recommending new educational technology and alternatives for persons who have not been adequately served by traditional methods.

He is a founding member of the NAACP Act-So Task Force, where the motto is “A scholar has the right to be a Hero.” Other organizations include: Chairman,  Black Heritage Museum: Advisory Board, Arlington County Chief of Police:   Advisory Board  George Mason University School of Education;   Board Member, Ballston Clarendon Partnership;   Vice President, Bluemont Civic Association:  Member, Alpha-Phi-Alpha Fraternity and is actively involved in several other social and political organizations.
