Background

School is open and thousands of parents are now having to make difficult choices -- feeding and clothing their children or buying a computer...  That is a choice that no parent should have to make.

A donated computer from Computer 4 Students (C4S) works to eliminate this horrible dilemma for parents.

All students should be able  participate fully in school assignments. Without a computer at home students are unable to complete their school work and keep up with the class. Not having as computer in the home has a devastating impact on school assignments, self-esteem and self worth of these students.  The impact is phenomenal, causing grade failures and leaving many students behind.…

C4S was created to assist economically and societally disadvantaged Metropolitan ARea residents in overcoming the digital divide. C4S is a small non-profit organization, strategically located in the Columbia Pike corridor of South Arlington, which provides computer hardware to low-income individuals and families.

C4S approach has been to accept used computers and have them refurbished and then donate them to disadvantaged students that are designated by schools, community based and non-profit organizations.

C4S  has entered into a partnership with P C. Retro who picks up donated used computer systems, removes old software, replaces and updates software and makes them ready and available for our needy students.  Not surprisingly we need your surplus computer equipment and donated funds to up grade many of the computers. Donation of funds will allow us to upgrade many more computers to fight the ever growing request for  computers.

Make a difference in the life of a needy student today.  You can now help by donating your surplus computers or by making secure contributions using a credit card PayPal.  You do not need to have PayPal account to donate to C4S who is a certified charitable organization.  It is incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) with a clear commitment to divert usable computer from wasteful disposal.
