About Computers 4 Students

Computer for Students (C4S) is a nonprofit organization, strategically located in the Columbia  Pike Corridor of South Arlington where it was founded in January, 2002.

C4S was created to assist economically and socially disadvantaged students to overcome the digital divide.  We provide computers so that students can complete school home work assignments. More and more home work requires a computer.  Plus teachers and school administration are sending notifications and other correspondence to the home through the computer,

C4S works through schools, social service agencies and nonprofit community based organizations  to identify and certify students who are at-risk and in  need of a computer in the  home.

Requests for computers are processed via mail on a
STANDARD APPLICATION FORM (PDF) and are processed quickly.

A VOUCHER is returned to the student via mail. The student takes the  VOUCHER to one of four P. C. RETRO Computer Stores to pick up complete computer system.

P C RETRO Store front Computer stores are strategically located: Falls Church, VA:  Alexandria, VA;  Beltsville, MD and Glen Burnie, MD..
